Eva-Maria Hempe is the Head of Healthcare & Life Sciences EMEA at Nivida. In this role together with her cross-functional team, she inspires and enables stakeholders across EMEA to unlock the potential of AI in genomics, drug discovery, medical imaging and med tech to transform the industry - because she believes everyone deserves a chance to live a long and healthy life.

Eva-Maria has over 15 years of experience in healthcare, strategy, and go-to-market. She has worked for the English NHS during and after her PhD in Service Design, led a project at the World Economic Forum about healthy living, served on the board of a care software company, and was an Associate Partner at Bain & Company, specializing in healthcare and digital innovation. Before joining NVIDIA, she was the Senior Director Enterprise Sales for Central EMEA and Chief of Staff to the Worldwide Head of Sales at VMware. She is considered an industry authority on the interface of healthcare, new technologies (cloud, AI) and strategy.

Eva-Maria holds a PhD in Engineering Design from the University of Cambridge and a master’s degree in Physics from the University of Regensburg.
